KADMAR Group Mourns the Passing of Its Founder & Chairman, Admiral Mahmoud Hatem El Kady
It is with profound sorrow and deep sadness that KADMAR Group announces the passing of its Founder and Chairman, Admiral Mahmoud Hatem El Kady.
Above all, Admiral El Kady was one of the devoted men of the Egyptian Armed Forces, who defended his country and dedicated his life to serving the nation with loyalty, honor, and love. He was a respected leader, a role model within the Egyptian Navy, and a man whose values of discipline, commitment, and patriotism remained evident throughout every stage of his life.
Admiral El Kady was also a pioneering force in maritime transport in Egypt and across the Arab world and the Middle East, and one of the most respected figures in the shipping and logistics industry. Through his visionary leadership, unwavering dedication, and exceptional foresight, he founded the first company of KADMAR Group in 1983 and built a legacy that left a lasting impact on the maritime sector and far beyond.
Throughout his distinguished career, Admiral El Kady played a fundamental role in shaping the institutional framework of the shipping industry. He was the Founder and former Chairman of the Alexandria Chamber of Shipping, the Founder and former Chairman of the Egyptian Central Chamber of Shipping, and the Founder and former Chairman of the Arab Federation of Chambers of Shipping. His efforts were instrumental in advancing the maritime industry and strengthening cooperation across Egypt and the Arab region.
Beyond his remarkable professional accomplishments, Admiral El Kady was a man of great stature, integrity, wisdom, and generosity. He was widely admired for his strong principles, noble character, and deep sense of responsibility toward his colleagues, partners, and the wider maritime community.
He was also deeply devoted to serving society and helping those in need. Out of this sincere belief in social responsibility and giving back to the community, he founded the Hatem El Kady Charity Foundation, which has given so much to the community and, by the grace of God, will continue on the same path in honor of his humanitarian legacy.
Among his final words to us was his constant call for commitment, seriousness, and professionalism at work at all times, especially during difficult moments. In faithful adherence to the values and principles he instilled in us, the KADMAR team will continue the journey with the same professionalism, dedication, and sense of responsibility. We shall carry forward the message, traditions, and great values that we learned from him and were raised upon under his guidance.
His passing is a profound loss to all who knew him, worked with him, or were inspired by his journey. Yet his legacy will continue to guide KADMAR Group, live on in the institutions he helped build, and inspire future generations across the maritime industry.

ببالغ الحزن والأسى، تنعى مجموعة كادمار مؤسسها ورئيس مجلس إدارتها، اللواء بحري أ.ح / محمود حاتم القاضي قبل أي شيء، كان الراحل أحد رجال القوات المسلحة المصرية المخلصين، الذين دافعوا عن وطنهم وأفنوا حياتهم في خدمته حبًا ووفاء وإخلاصًا. وكان قدوة يُحتذى بها في البحرية المصرية، وقائدًا عظيمًا جسد في مسيرته قيم الانضباط والشرف والالتزام الوطني
كما كان الراحل أحد أبرز الرواد في مجال النقل البحري في مصر والعالم العربي والشرق الأوسط، ومن أكثر الشخصيات احترامًا وتقديرًا في قطاع النقل البحري والخدمات اللوجستية. وبرؤيته الثاقبة، وقيادته الراسخة وتفانيه الكبير، أسس أولى شركات مجموعة كادمار عام 1983، وترك إرثا ممتدا وبصمة راسخة في القطاع البحري وخارجه
وخلال مسيرته الحافلة، لعب الراحل دورًا أساسيًا في بناء الإطار المؤسسي لصناعة النقل البحري، حيث كان مؤسسا ورئيسا سابقًا لغرفة ملاحة الإسكندرية، ومؤسسا ورئيسًا سابقًا لغرفة الملاحة المركزية المصرية ومؤسسا ورئيسا سابقًا للاتحاد العربي لغرف الملاحة. وقد أسهمت جهوده بدور محوري في دعم الصناعة البحرية وتعزيز التعاون على مستوى مصر والمنطقة العربية
وإلى جانب إنجازاته المهنية الكبيرة، كان الراحل مثالا في الهيبة والنزاهة والحكمة والعطاء، محل تقدير الجميع لم اعرف عنه من قيم راسخة، وشخصية استثنائية، وإحساس عميق بالمسؤولية تجاه زملائه وشركائه والمجتمع بأسره
كما امتدت رسالته إلى خدمة المجتمع والعمل الخيري، إيمانًا منه بأهمية العطاء والمسؤولية المجتمعية. ومن هذا المنطلق، أسس مؤسسة حاتم القاضي الخيرية، التي قدمت الكثير للمجتمع، وستظل بإذن الله سائرة على النهج ذاته، وفاء لإرثه الإنساني النبيل
وكانت آخر كلماته ووصاياه لنا دائمًا - الالتزام - الجدية - المهنية في العمل - حتى في أصعب الأوقات. وإيمانا بهذه الرسالة التي غرسها فينا سيواصل فريق عمل كادمار المسيرة بنفس الروح، وبكل مهنية وجدية ومسؤولية، حاملين الرسالة، ومحافظين على التقاليد العظيمة والقيم الراسخة التي تعلمناها وتتلمذنا عليها على يديه
لقد شكل رحيله خسارة كبيرة لكل من عرفه أو عمل معه أو تتلمذ على يديه، إلا أن إرثه سيبقى حيا، يهدي مسيرة مجموعة كادمار، ويعيش في المؤسسات التي أسسها، وفي المعايير التي أرساها، وفي الأجيال التي ألهمها
